What data we process and why
This website has no forms and no customer area. We only process data in these cases:
- If you email us: your name, your email address and what you tell us, to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal.
- If you own a KIVVO product and contact us: also the order details you give us, to handle your question, your warranty or a product safety notice.
- When you visit the website: the technical data your browser sends (IP address, browser type, page visited). Our hosting provider uses it to serve and protect the website and to give us aggregated visit statistics that do not identify you.
We do not build profiles or make automated decisions about you.
Legal basis
- Replying to your messages and preparing proposals: your own request and the pre-contractual steps you ask for (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Handling warranties and product safety notices: our legal obligations under consumer and product safety law (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- Serving and protecting the website and measuring visits in aggregate: our legitimate interest in a website that works well and is secure (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Who else accesses your data
We do not sell or share your data. These providers process it on our behalf, as processors:
- Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and visit statistics.
- IONOS SE (European Union): email.
Transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards of the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). We will only disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Emails: for as long as the conversation or business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the limitation periods set by law.
- Warranty and product safety queries: for the periods required by consumer and product safety law.
- Technical visit data: the limited time our hosting provider needs to serve and protect the website. Visitor identification for statistics is discarded after 24 hours.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, or ask for its portability by writing to info@4jlab.com. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
